In addition to her urban homesteading adventures, Kat works full-time for a non-profit, teaching volunteers to paint murals, garden, and serve meals in soup kitchens. She also teaches vinyasa yoga at Om Factory NYC.
Last but not least, she is a former skater and manager of the Bronx Gridlock of Gotham Girls Roller Derby.

Great blog! I love you photos and projects. I was really excited to see that you’re working on Storm and plan on a post detailing your corrections to the pattern. I’m mired in that sweater myself and just ripped out about 20 rows because all of a sudden I can’t follow the pattern! It seemed so easy–and I am a bit of a beginner. Do you know when that post will be coming?

Hi Twilly – thanks for commenting! I’m in the process of finishing up Storm this evening, so hopefully I can pull together my notes and blog some corrections over the course of the next week.
It’s a gorgeous pattern, but written in a challenging way, isn’t it?

Thanks, Mike! Perhaps it would have been smarter of me to do the photo program in Praha, eh?
